Vintage 1970s Metal President Nixon Novelty Wrist Watch. Features a cartoon caricature of President Richard Nixon with the phrase "I'm not a crook" and the date 11-17-73 on the face. The words "Nixon says..." as well as the copyright of the "All American Time Co." are also present, with the numbers 3, 9, and 12 visible and all other times obscured or represented by a blue star. Marked "base metal" on the back and "Hong Kong" on the clasp.

President Richard Nixon famously declared "I am not a crook" on November 17th, 1973 during a televised question-and-answer session with newspaper executives at Disney World's Contemporary Resort in Orlando, Florida to defend himself against accusations related to the Watergate scandal. The comment was intended to build public trust, but instead became an iconic phrase associated with the scandal, the subsequent investigation, and his resignation less than a year later in August 1974. These items were produced as novelty political memorabilia during the late 1970s.
