Vintage 1940s Radium Painted Rolex Oyster Junior Sport Wristwatch - AS IS. Adjustable.
This rare 1940s stainless steel Oyster Junior Sport watch (30.5mm) was produced by Rolex exclusively for the Canadian market and sold at military PX stores during World War II to service members heading overseas. Its compact case design was tailored to resist damage in combat settings, featuring the highly sought-after rounded, convex bezel in an unpolished state that preserves its authentic, original character.
The original dial displays clear Arabic numerals, an inner minute track, and an outer seconds track paired with a sub-seconds register above the 6 o'clock mark. Styled with the scarce curved "EXTRA PRIMA" lettering, the watch also features its original Oyster-patented winding crown, a Caliber 59 movement, and a vintage-style flexible metal expansion band.
