Victorian English Cut Crystal Perfume Bottle. Victorian cut crystal rectangular perfume bottle with crystal glass finial and enamel and sterling silver rim. With British hallarks.

Victorian era perfume bottles, crafted during Queen Victoria’s reign from 1837 to 1901, reflect the opulence, sentimentality, and intricate design characteristic of the period. These bottles were often made from fine glass, crystal, porcelain, or silver and featured elaborate embellishments such as hand-painted florals, repoussé silverwork, or etched patterns. Popular forms included chatelaine bottles—small flasks attached to chains and worn at the waist—as well as ornate atomizers and stoppered flacons. Reflecting the era’s fascination with beauty, modesty, and personal refinement, these perfume bottles were both functional and decorative, often given as romantic gifts or treasured keepsakes. Today, they are highly valued by collectors for their craftsmanship and historical charm.
