Victor Vasarely (1906-1997) Serigraph "Double Vega" from the portfolio "Kunst-Oslo" 1985-1986 Pencil signed and numbered 57/295. Victor Vasarely was a Hungarian-French artist, who is widely accepted as a 'grandfather' and leader of the Op Art movement. He created intricate abstractions that suggested depth & dimensionality using a variety of optical illusions, with surfaces seeming to bulge out of the canvas. Vasarely's works present color, form, and pattern as a single interconnected element.
