Victor Becker was an American printmaker active in the 1930s and 1940s, celebrated primarily for his finely detailed animal etchings. Best known is The Pride of the Pack (c. 1940), a pencil-signed, limited-edition work depicting a graceful bird—evocative of his keen observation of nature. His art, typically produced in editions of around 100, demonstrates masterful line work that captures both the texture and spirit of wildlife subjects. While little is known about his personal biography, Becker’s prints occasionally surface at auctions and on art exchange platforms, appreciated for their precision, composition, and timeless appeal.
