The viewer looks upon a simple, peaceful scene. A picnic table with a white cloth sits in the mid-ground, a single chair pulled out from it. A vase of brightly colored flowers rests atop of table. Part of a house peeks out from behind the table on the left of the frame and in the background and a few tress are scattered about the scene.
