Ted Camp (Born 1949) American, Vertical Cylindrical Swirl Ceramic Vase. Repetitive grooves ascend the sides diagonally up to the small mouth at top. 

Size: 9 x 29 in. 

Ted Camp was born in New York City in 1949, and attended Indiana University where he majored in chemistry before discovering ceramics on a whim, quickly realizing it would be a lifelong passion. After graduating he became an art teacher at Manatee Junior College (now State College of Florida) in Bradenton, Florida in 1973, where he developed the ceramics program and ran it until his retirement in 2010. He continues to produce original pieces by hand and on the wheel that he exhibits throughout the country, with his works in public and private collections around the world.
