Sydney Ernest Wilson (b. 1869) was a British artist known for his mezzotint engravings during the early 20th-century revival of the technique, often depicting elegant women and children with soft, detailed realism. His works, such as Mrs. Angelo as Miranda and Lady Smyth & Children, were frequently published by London firms like Vicars Brothers and are still circulated in auctions today.
