Swedish Strombergshyttan Art Glass Vase with Etched Scene. Classic form with a image of a girl tossing dandelions in the air. Marked and numbered on the underside with the two artists signatures as well.

Size: 4 1/2 x 4 1/2 x 7 5/8 in.

Founded as Lindfors in 1876 in Småland, Sweden, the glassworks was renamed Strömbergshyttan in 1933 after being taken over by former Orrefors glassmaker Edward Strömberg and his designer wife, Gerda. The studio became famous for its signature bluish-silver tinted glass, featuring sleek modern designs by Gerda and Asta Strömberg alongside artists Gunnar Nylund and Rune Strand. Following a devastating factory fire in 1973, financial strain led to the studio's sale to Orrefors in 1976 before its final closure in 1979.
