Large colorful abstract with geometric design overlaid on landscape images, oil on canvas. Philadelphia native, Steven Jaffe obtained his bachelor's degree from Philadelphia College of Art and a master's degree from Temple University. Hetaught at the University of the Arts from 1971 until his retirement in 2006. The artist exhibited with Gross McCleaf Gallery in Philadelphia and was included in the University of Pennsylvania's Institute of Contemporary Art inaugural exhibition in 1991. Jaffe is best known large scale abstract painting. Size: 68 x 56 in.
