Stephan Whittle (1953–2000) was a British artist renowned for his intricate etchings and mixed media prints. Born in Leeds, England, he began his formal art education at Chelsea School of Art in 1970 and earned an honors degree in fine art from Brighton College of Art in 1975. Throughout his career, Whittle worked as an artist, teacher, and graphic designer in both Switzerland and England. In 1980, he established his etching studio near Skelmersdale, Lancashire, and exhibited his work across Great Britain. His art often reflects a harmonious view of nature, capturing pastoral landscapes and floral scenes with meticulous detail. Whittle's legacy continues through the ongoing availability of his works, managed by his family.
