16 English Sterling Silver Kings Pattern Fish Knives. English sterling fish knives in king's pattern. 1 Set of Knives with silver hallmarks on handles and blades. The other we suspect are sterling, but did not weigh them because of their blades.

Three principal patterns of cutlery appeared in the first decade of the 19th Century, remaining popular ever since: they are Kings, Queens, and Hourglass patterns. Queens is the most decorative, with honeysuckle flowers and shell motifs. Kings is a more simplified version of the Queens, and Hourglass is the simplest of the three.
