"Blue and Orange Bottle with Bird & Flower on Branch", blown glass bottle, blown glass bird and branch with lamp-worked elements. Shane Fero was born in Chicago, Illinois, and started creating glass works as a teenager. He is one of the pre-eminent artists with the torch in the glass blowing community, with work found in museums around the world. Fero has had more than 30 solo exhibitions since 1992, and currently maintains a studio next to Penland School in North Carolina
