Scott Jacobs (born 1958 in Cranford, New Jersey) is a renowned American photorealist painter celebrated for his meticulous depictions of motorcycles, classic cars, wine, and reflective surfaces. In 1993, he became the first officially licensed artist for Harley-Davidson, a milestone that propelled his career and led to collaborations with brands like Chevrolet (Corvette division), Hot Wheels, and the estates of Marilyn Monroe and Elvis Presley . Jacobs' journey into art began in high school, working at a framing store and later operating his own gallery from a van. After a hiatus, his wife Sharon gifted him painting supplies in 1989, reigniting his passion. His hyper-realistic style, characterized by intricate details and the use of fine brushes, has earned him acclaim worldwide, with works displayed on over 100 cruise ships and in 40 museums . Beyond painting, Jacobs is an entrepreneur, owning the Jacobs Gallery and Jacobs Brewhouse & Grocer in Deadwood, South Dakota, ventures that reflect his commitment to art and community. His family plays an integral role in his endeavors, with his daughters Olivia and Alexa contributing to the family business and artistic legacy.
