Majestic aspens in the Rockies, a New Mexico sunset, an Indian pueblo, a rustic old building on the back roads of Texas - these are some of the subjects one will find in the watercolor creations by SASTRA.
Born in South Texas, SASTRA has traveled extensively through the South- west and his work is an expression of love for the natural beauty of this area and a reminiscence of its cultures. His style ranges from realism to impressionistic, depending upon the mood created by each subject.
SASTRA makes his home in San Antonio, Texas. He has painted as a hobby for many years, enhancing his self developed style through studies with numerous local and international artists. a member of the San Antonio Watercolor Group, the San Antonio Art League, and the New Braunfels Art League.
