Salvador Dali (1904-1989) Spain, Mixed Media of a rabbit and abstract shapes. Authentication on the back saing it is an original mixed-media interpretation, original heliogravure with superimposed original woodcuts, signed in the plate by Salvador Dali. From a limited edition portfolio entitled "Alice in Wonderland". The portfolio was limited to 2,700 portfolios of which 200 were double suites. This original is from portfolio number 2239. Salvador Dali was a Spanish surrealist artist renowned for his technical skill, precise draftsmanship, and the striking and bizarre images in his work. Born in Figueres, Catalonia, Spain, Dalí received his formal education in fine arts in Madrid.
