Rudolph Colao (1927–2014) was an American realist painter best known for his luminous floral still lives, interiors, and New England landscapes. Working in oils, he gained acclaim for carefully observed compositions that emphasized realistic textures, light, and classical depth. A dedicated instructor at the Art Students League of New York, his award-winning paintings remain appreciated by collectors for their refined craftsmanship.
