Roseville Pottery Company was an American art pottery manufacturer founded in 1890 in Roseville, Ohio, that became especially popular in the early 20th century for its richly glazed, molded wares inspired by natural forms. After relocating to Zanesville, the company developed distinctive lines such as Pinecone, Wisteria, and Futura, featuring stylized flowers, leaves, and Art Deco influences in matte and blended glazes. Roseville pottery is known for its textured surfaces, soft earth-tone palettes, and clearly impressed marks that often include the company name and shape number, making authentic pieces highly collectible among American art pottery enthusiasts.
