Colorful jungle scene with wild animals. Rodrigue Mervilus is active/lives in Haiti and is known for Folk art painting. Rodrigue Mervilus was born in St. Marc. Having had an early desire to paint, he started designing while still at school, and one night he had a dream that he was acclaimed to be one of the top artists. On awakening he asked his father for financial help. He immediately started painting in rounded figures, bright primary colors on a busy canvas. Size: 21 1/2 x 25 1/2 in.
