Stunning Curly Alaskan Birch Bowl signed and dated 1993, by Robert J. Cutler, trimmed in Alaskan Diamond Willow. Inlay and Handle is Brass, Copper Diamond Willow, Pre-historic Mammoth bone and Moose Antler. Superlative craftsmanship, and in immaculate condition. American artist Robert Cutler turns highly figured bowls with intricate inlay, using precious and semi-precious metals as well as prehistoric materials found in Alaska. Each piece is finished with the artist's formulated sealant to protect the integrity of his work. Born in Idaho, Cutter is active in Kenai, Alaska.
