Robert Andrew Parker (B. 1927) USA, Sculpture. Signed on back. Parker considered to Cornwall Connecticut's Renaissance Man, he studied at the Art Institute of Chicago and his work is as eclectic as it is engaging. With "masterful illustrations, ranging from wartime aerial combat, foreign travel and sultry women, silent picture stars to pet dogs and cats curled, slanted exaggerated awash in soak of poppy pastels." His work's been seen in collections at the MoMA, The Metropolitan Museum of Art and the Whitney. A body of work that defines his range as one "Cool CAT."
