Big Sur Coast, 20th C. oil on board, signed lower right. Raymond Sipos is active/lives in California, Michigan and is known for marine and landscape painting.
Born in Detroit, Michigan, Sipos earned a Bachelor of Science degree at California Polytechnic State College and then worked as a mechanisms and optics engineer for Jet Propulsion Laboratory before becoming a full-time artist in 1972. His paintings have since been mass produced into prints.
