Rare painted replica of the self-portrait of Louise Elisabeth Vigée-Lebrun on bone with a bone frame. She is beautifully dressed in clothing of the time with a floral and feather decorated summer hat, crystal earrings, holding brushes and a painting palette. As a society we appreciate woman artists especially in the past when the profession was much more dominated by male artists. It was difficult to get the proper training or respect in the art world at the time.
