Rare 16th century brass alms dish, circa 1525, from historic Nuremburg Germany, noted for its ornately decorated churches. This monumental brass tray boasts intricate lettering & designs amongst three raised rings. The central circle holds a high-relief religious scene features an angel with cross, religious leader at the lectern, vessel of flowers, and a hovering bird in flight.
