Plate XVI, with M1117 in upper left-hand corner, this engraving depicts a hobby, part of the falcon family, with R Mitford in the lower right, Robert Mitford (1781 - 1870) was a noted British etcher and engraver and the brother-in-law of Prideaux John Selby (1788 - 1867), unframed, the plate measures 22 1/8 x 15 7/8 and the image is 18 1/8 x 11 1/2 in. wide, to benefit the Sarasota Audubon Society.
