Qing Dynasty Ink Stone Set. 

Also known as ink cakes or ink cakes. These are traditional tools used in Chinese calligraphy and painting.

Come in various shapes, including rectangular, oval, and figure shaped. Gilt. Decorated with calligraphy, poetry, or images of landscapes, figures, or animals. Stored in a box with a velvet lining.
