The Battle of La Hogue (or "the Hogue") took place in May 1692 during the Nine Years' War. It was a significant naval engagement involving the English fleet, commanded by Admiral Edward Russell, and the French fleet under Admiral Anne Hilarion de Tourville.

The battle was notable for the English and Dutch forces' decisive victory over the French, effectively disrupting French naval power and thwarting their plans to invade England. The battle consisted of two main engagements: one on May 19 and another on May 21.
