Pre-Columbian Paracas Polychrome Earthenware Bowl with Incised Steppe Motif - AS IS. The Southern Peruvian Paracas culture flourished in the Ica Valley from roughly 800 to 100 BC. This round-bottomed piece with a straight rim, displaying horizontal bands as well as vertical and diagonal incised steppe motifs in white, black, and red around its rim, is indicative of the later period of their reign. 

Condition: Significant cracks and signs of repair, with a chunk separated from the rim. 

Size: 3 1/4 x 6 1/2 in.
