After founder George Poole’s death in 1915, his sons ran the business until selling it in 1946. The company introduced sterling silver and popular lines like Bristol Silver before being acquired by Towle Silversmiths in 1971. Today, through Lifetime Brands, Poole is part of a larger group that also includes Gorham, International Silver, and Wallace.
