Peter DuBois Geer was born in Bronxville, New York, graduated from Yale University, and had a professional career in advertising. After retirement, he started painting prolifically, producing canvases each uniquely combining images and words. He neither showed nor sold his paintings, choosing instead to give them to friends and acquaintances, deciding which fitted the recipient best. Overall size: 58 x 38 in. Sight size: 56 1/2 x 36 in.
