A painter, printmaker, draftsman, illustrator, commercial artist, author and educator, Paul Landry (aka: Paul A. Landry) was born in Halifax, Canada and has lived in Westport, Connecticut for several decades (c.mid 1960s). His best known mediums are oils, watercolors, gouache*, etching*, limited edition prints and mixed mediums. His primary subjects are portraits, figures, genre*, landscapes, snowscapes, marine scenes, street scenes, rural scenes, nostalgic scenes, gardens, cottages, interiors, boats and seafaring history. His styles are Realism* and Romantic Realism.
