Pair of Vintage Le Mieux China Louis XVI Style Porcelain 24k Gold Encrusted Urn Lamps. Decorated throughout with matching forms including the handles, finials, bases, and side paintings. No shades.

Le Mieux China is a vintage porcelain brand known for 24K gold-encrusted trim and hand-decorated Louis XV/XVI pastoral medallions. Its exact origins are mysterious, divided between lore of a French factory destroyed in World War II and historical hints pointing to a 1930s Chicago-based distributor. Their most common surviving pieces today are highly sought Sevres-style porcelain lamps and vessels, heavily ornamented and opulently styled.
