Footed pitcher on left is an antique soft-paste or ironstone pitcher featuring an elegant baluster form with vertical ribbing along the neck and lower body. It is fitted with an ornate, scrolled rococo-style handle and a heavily gilded scalloped rim. The central transfer-printed Chinoiserie scene depicts a traditional willow and pagoda landscape.
Rounded pitcher on right is a modern, high-quality porcelain reproduction pitcher of bulbous form, featuring a wide geometric cross-hatch or diamond border at the rim above a classic Blue Willow-style narrative landscape. It features a simple loop handle with minor blue detailing. Marked Mottahedeh on underside.
Condition: Signs of repair on handle. Hairline on base of one piece.
