Joseph Wilhelm Suhs: 1864-1938. Listed German artist with auction records over $4500. Capturing Woman of the time was what he was best known for. Several of his work are similar to these. Well dressed woman in action with the backgrounds of their native community. Often comprised of flowers and baskets. Hard to be certain as there is paper on the back, but where it is torn it looks to show typical fine wood panel.
