Owen Pach (1953 - 2018) Studio Art Glass Bowl. Blown and sand cast. Artist owned a Florida studio. The base of the bowl was cast in sand and sits solidly on a surface. He was already an established woodworker when he first blew glass at age 30. At that point there was no turning back. Pach has studied and worked with many of the top glass artists in the country. He has served as apprentice &/or teaching assistant to Harvey Littleton, Richard Ritter, Vince Olmstead, HerbBabcock, John Littleton/Kate Vogel, Mark Peiser, Paul Stankard, among others. Pach’s work has numerous awards across the country including back-to-back “Best of Show” awards at Spoletto in Charleston, the top sculpture prize at VirginiaBeach, and the top glass prize at St. Louis. His work can be found in many museums and private collections. Size: 7 1/4 x 5 3/4 x 4 3/4 in.
