"Otto Antoine (1865-1951) German, Oil On Board. Signed in lower right. Titled "Vase of Flowers" Impressionist oil on board painting of a still-life of different colored flowers in a dark blue vase. A white flower laying down beside the vase. Otto Antoine is known for his post-impressionist landscapes and charming village scenes. He was considered one of the most significant German artists of his time. He was a member of the Association of Berlin Artists and documented in Berlin before WWII. A large number of his paintings were brought to the U.S. by family members and reside in the homes of collectors in Connecticut and California. Overall Size: 27 x 22 in.
