Engraving by Charles Lewis (English, 1808-1880) after Thomas Barker (British, 1769-1847). "Nelson Receiving the Swords on Board the San Josef, February 14 1797".
Engraving depicts a scene on the deck of the ship San Jose during the Battle of Cape St. Vincent, the Admiral of the Spanish fleet at center on deck surrendering his sword to Lord Nelson, each being surrounded by his men.
