Neil J. Farkas (born 1952) is an American artist based in Florida, best known for his seriolithographs and photo-mosaic works of cultural icons such as the Mona Lisa, Marilyn Monroe, and James Dean. His signature style builds large images out of tiny, photographically based tiles, creating a layered pop-art effect. Farkas’s work has been exhibited in U.S. galleries, including in Detroit and Birmingham, Michigan, and appears frequently in auctions and estate sales. Some pieces have circulated through Park West Gallery, though he doesn’t seem to be a regular member of their core roster.
