Nabil Mikajil Kirollos (B. 1946) Egyptian. 1972 abstract. Signed in the lower right. Numbers in the lower left. Born in Alexandria in 1946, he has studied painting at the L. Da Vinci Academy in Cairo. In Italy he graduated in Academy of Fine Arts in Venice. He has specialized in fresco and mosaic at the Academy of Fine Arts in Bologna. He has met and associated with the Master Campigli in Paris. He has practiced different pictorial experiences: from figurative to neo-cubism, to informal. He deals with graphics, painting, fresco, mosaic, drawing, oil. He has exhibit in many solo and group shows in Venice, Stockholm, Paris, London, Rome. His artworks refer to oriental culture but also to the western figurative world. His works have the traditional Byzantine decorative preciousness. We can find his artworks in private collections in many countries: Germany, Brasil, Canada, United States, France, Austria, Denmark, Sweden, Great Britain and Sweden. Famous critics have written flattering essays: E. Buda, G. Mugnone, V. Kanellos, V. Galandachi, R. Jonos.
