Abstract still life watercolor, signed and dated '94. Mortimer Kohn was born in New York City, studied art and received two degrees from Queens College, N.Y. He exhibited extensively in the San Francisco Bay Area 1980-1989. He was an instructor at the San Francisco Art Institute in the 1960s. His joyful abstracts convey 'the essence of the subject through the use of suggestion, rather than deliniating the details'.
