Monumental Rare Blue Lobster in Specimen Table
Specimen Table Housing a Monumental Blue Lobster from New England; Glass Coffee Table, Oversized Lobster Under Glass. Unique, one-of-a-kind! Blue lobsters are extremely rare. According to University of Maine's Lobster Institute, the coloration comes from a genetic defect that causes the lobster to produce an excessive amount of a particular protein, which is why in rare cases a lobster turns blue.
