This is a modern two-dimensional piece of kinetic art. The top layer is plexiglass painted with wavy green lines and the bottom layer is a large red circle painted on wood and a yellow box in the center painted with gray concentric circles. When the two pieces overlap and the viewer changes location, the result is kinetic art - an image that moves. The piece reads "Wm W. Leefe, 29 Hillcrest Rd. Wakefield, R.I." on the back. We don't know if that is the owner of the piece or the artist. The overall size is 15 x 15 in. square and 2 in. deep. Provenance: the Hirsch estate.
