Mdina Glass Handmade Lantern with leather strap. Relatively clear with green, brown, and yellow color throughout. Vertically ribbed design with thin black cage like metal framing. Side has a sticker that says Mdina Glass Handmade.

Mdina Glass is a Maltese glassmaking company founded in 1968 by British artist Michael Harris, known for its bold colors and handcrafted, organic designs. Influenced by the Mediterranean landscape, their pieces often feature swirls of turquoise, amber, and cobalt, using techniques like submerged glass and controlled bubbles. Still active today in Ta’ Qali, Malta, Mdina Glass produces both classic and contemporary pieces and remains highly collectible—especially early works from the 1960s and 70s.
