Born in Toronto, Canada and now based in Waterloo, Ontario, Mary Murdoch is a passionate abstract painter whose bold, expressive work captures the emotional power of color, movement, and line. Although her early career led her to teaching kindergarten, she discovered her true artistic calling later in life, embracing abstract painting in her 60s while studying art in Sarasota, Florida. Her dynamic creations, marked by energetic brushwork and vivid color, have been exhibited widely in Canada, earning recognition and awards for their emotive and liberating qualities.
