Artist Biography:
Martin Rosol is a renowned Czech-American glass sculptor known for his innovative and architectural style. Born in Czechoslovakia, he emigrated to the United States in 1988 to pursue his artistic career. Rosol's sculptures are characterized by their intricate construction, often utilizing multiple pieces of precisely cut crystal assembled into complex forms. He employs sandblasting techniques to create contrasting textures and play with light and shadow, resulting in works that are both visually stunning and intellectually engaging.
