Marie-Madeleine Gautier (born 1956) is a French contemporary sculptor, born in Normandy and trained at the École des Beaux-Arts in Paris. Her work focuses primarily on the human figure, particularly the female form, which she explores through elongated, simplified, and deliberately exaggerated proportions. Working principally in bronze and resin, Gautier creates sensual, expressive figures that move between realism and abstraction, often emphasizing balance, movement, and the psychological presence of the body. She has exhibited internationally since her first solo exhibition in Paris in 1982, and her sculptures are held in collections worldwide.
