Marc Chagall (1887–1985) was a Russian-French artist widely known for his unique blend of surrealism, cubism, and symbolism, often incorporating vibrant colors and dreamlike imagery. Born in Vitebsk, Belarus, Chagall's early works were influenced by his Jewish heritage, which is reflected in many of his paintings, such as The Fiddler and I and the Village.
