Molded glass. Signed on the back of the base.
The Moser glassworks was established by Ludwig Moser in Karlsbad, Bohemia in 1857. His success at the 1873 International Exhibition in Vienna allowed for greater market entry, leading to the establishment of a factory in Meierhofen in 1893. The factory, named Karlsbaderglasindustrie Gesellschaft Ludwig Moser & Söhne, employed 400 people and focused on creating glass from the beginning of the production process. Despite closures and transfers in the 20th century, Moser remained a significant glass company in Bohemia, known for producing high-quality luxury glassware, and serving as an official supplier to several European royal houses and palaces.
