Linda Le Kinff is a contemporary painter and printmaker born in Paris in 1949. She is celebrated for her richly colored, sensual depictions of women in poetic, music-infused interiors. Le Kinff spent over a decade in Italy mastering a wide range of traditional and modern techniques, including egg tempera, gold leaf, collage, and lithography. Influenced by artists like Braque, Matisse, and Picasso, her elegant work often features women with musical instruments, cats, or in theatrical settings, and she has been the official artist for the 1998 FIFA World Cup and the 2010 Kentucky Derby.
