Leslie Joy Ickowitz is a contemporary photographer based in Tampa, Florida, known for her vibrant and evocative images of global destinations, nature, fashion, and culture. Her career took a significant turn after a trip to Cuba in 2015, which led to a photo essay featured on the cover of Creative Loafing's Cuba issue. Ickowitz has held solo exhibitions at notable venues such as the Florida Museum of Photographic Arts and the Dunedin Fine Art Center. Her work, including series like Historia de Amor con Cuba and LOVELIFE, reflects her passion for capturing the essence of diverse landscapes and cultures. In addition to photography, she is the founder of VERTICAL Tampa Bay magazine and engages in mixed media art projects.
